CLIENT WINS

Even with short notice, MRC was able to meet both the client’s deadlines and budget needs. Our pricing is flexible, and in this case study, a flat, per-plaintiff fee worked best for our client’s budget.

SUMMARY

On short notice, MRC issued roughly 3,000 record retrieval requests and reviewed medical records for 150 plaintiffs in only two weeks.

THE CHALLENGE

The HIPAA-required authorizations were held for nearly a year, cutting short the discovery phase and creating an intense deadline.

MRC’S SOLUTION

MRC scaled their staff of record retrieval specialists and began working day and night, including weekends, to collect records for 150 plaintiffs.

Our staff was able to successfully retrieve records in time for the majority of the requests, and we were able to maintain a very low “No Records Statement” percentage for the duration of this project. Records were passed to our legal nurse consultants for review, and they created a custom work product. Our nurses were able to review medical records for 150 plaintiffs within two weeks, thanks to their long hours over nights and weekends.
